Porridge Oats: The Queen of Breakfasts!

Porridge is healthy, filling and it’s cheap! It tastes even better by adding fruit, like bananas, raisins and apple, or spices like cinnamon.

Ingredients
4 tbsp. porridge oats
150ml milk or water
1 handful fruit (optional)
Honey, salt or sugar to taste

Method
  1. Pour the milk or water into a saucepan
  2. Turn on cooker to a medium heat
  3. Mix in the porridge oats
  4. Stir slowly until the porridge thickens.
  5. Remove from the heat when you have the thickness you like. If you like it runny, just add more milk or water
  6.  Add fruit, sugar, salt or honey to your taste. Serve.
