Bankuet

Community groups can join Bankuet to receive donations of food paid for by Bankuet supporters.

You can also donate a food bundle to a local food bank, or start a crowdfunding campaign using the Bankuet platform.

City Harvest

Low-cost membership scheme for community groups to receive weekly deliveries of quality surplus food. Existing members only, check website for updates.

Co-op Food Share

Co-op supermarkets in Lambeth donate fresh and ambient surplus food to local community groups in their area. If you would like to register a community group, apply at the Co-op website.

FareShare London

FareShare London works in partnership with the Felix Project. They have schemes offering free and reduced price surplus food for community groups - including FareShare Go.

Healthy Living Platform - Food Hubs

Healthy Living Platform currently runs surplus food hubs on behalf of Lambeth Council. They distribute free surplus food to community groups. If you run a community food project in Lambeth, email or call to discuss your requirements.

Neighbourly

Neighbourly can help community groups connect with businesses that have volunteer time, money or surplus food to donate. They manage the surplus for Sainsburys, Lidl, and ALDI.

Charities and community groups can sign up online to receive free donations of surplus food available nearby.

The Felix Project

The Felix Project works in partnership with FareShare London. They have schemes offering free and reduced price surplus food for community groups.

Turn Quick Food Services

Turn Quick Services sell fresh fruit and vegetables across London. They specialise in culturally appropriate foods, prepacked and prepared meals, grains, etc. They also donate surplus produce to community groups across the borough. For more information, contact David or Dean on 0203 441 5000.

Congestion Charge Reimbursements

Due to coronavirus, the Mayor of London has temporarily expanded NHS staff and patient eligibility for Congestion Charge reimbursements. The Mayor of London has also created new Congestion Charge reimbursement schemes for local authorities, charities and care homes.

- Working at a care home within the Congestion Charge zone

Hygiene Bank

Many local people struggle to pay for basic toiletries like soap, deodorant, and sanitary protection. You can donate items at stores and libraries in Lambeth. For a list of your nearest drop off points visit the Hygiene Bank website.

Independent Food Aid Network

The Independent Food Aid Network (IFAN) supports and connects independent food aid organizations.

It also advocates on their behalf at a national level. IFAN provide up-to-date information about how your group can access surplus food, funding, supplies, etc,. Your group can join for free.
