Supports homeless people. Take away and dine-in lunch served (£1 contribution encouraged). Just turn up.

Ace of Clubs can link people to accommodation, welfare, rehab, training, healthcare, etc. Advice service by appointment.

COIN - Community Information Network

COIN Community Information Network is for Lambeth adults with long term health conditions who are looking for paid work, to move closer to their vocational goals, or to find social and leisure activities to enjoy.

DASL - Disability Advice Service Lambeth

DASL is led by Disabled people in Lambeth. They work and campaign with Disabled residents to achieve their legal rights, be in control of their lives, be active in their communities. Help includes advice, advocacy, Direct Payments support.

Lambeth Mutual Aid

Lambeth Mutual Aid is a volunteer-led group supporting Lambeth residents. Their monthly Solidarity Fund offers people in financial need £30 for essentials like food and fuel. If the Solidarity Fund is closed, sign up to be notified when it reopens. They can also provide other practical support.

Lambeth Portuguese Wellbeing Partnership (LPWP) Helpline

Telephone suppport and sign-posting for Portuguese people facing language barriers. Portuguese speaking.

Manna Day Centre

Supports homeless people. Free breakfast, lunch and other services available. Just turn up.

MyCommunity Gateway

MyCommunity Gateway can help if you need food, help with claiming benefits, etc. They can issue food bank vouchers. AgeUK Lambeth runs this service for anyone aged over 18 years old.

Oasis Advice Centre

Free, independent debt, advice, and immigration support. Complete online form for support or call. Free, in-person immigration drop-in session on Tuesdays 1.30-3.30pm.

Open Door Advice Hub

Anyone is welcome to drop to meet a Norwood & Brixton Foodbank advisor for expert help, including: benefits advice, help with forms, including PIP forms, money management tips or debt advice, etc.

Plus, free tea, coffee and cake 11am-2pm, and free hot lunch 12.30pm-1.30pm.

Trussell Trust Help Through Hardship Line

Help Through Hardship can do benefits and grants checks, so you can find out what you are eligible for. They can also guide you through any claims and help you with emergency issues.

Waterloo Legal Advice Centre

Legal advice by appointment only. Online, telephone, and limited in person appointments. New clients can make an appointment using the online form. No advice on debt, welfare benefits, parking or Council Tax disputes.

Cassandra Centre

Supports women, girls, and young people in Southwest London who have experienced domestic abuse. Offers free 1-2-1 counselling.

Respeito

Telephone, email and online support for people from Portuguese speaking communties experiencing domestic abuse. Portuguese speaking.

The Gaia Centre

Supports people of all genders experiencing gender based violence, including domestic and sexual violence in Lambeth. Including advocacy and peer support work.

The National Domestic Abuse Helpline

Provides help and support to those experiencing domestic violence and abuse. 24-hour, free helpline.

Women's Aid

Women's Aid supports women and children experiencing domestic violence. Live chat and email support.

Refugee & Migrant Support

Breadwinners

Breaking Barriers

Breaking Barriers offers free support to refugees and migrants to help them find paid work. They will help with CV writing, applying for jobs and preparing for interviews. They also offer training in English, IT, numeracy, etc. Visit website for online enquiry form.

Call the advice line to discuss your asylum, nationality, and immigration matters with a caseworker.

No Recourse to Public Funds Network

NRPF Network is a national network safeguarding the welfare of destitute families, adults, and care leavers who are unable to access benefits due to their immigration status. Visit their website for information and resources for people with NRPF status.

Project 17

Project 17 supports families with children that face financial hardship or homelessness due to No Recourse To Public Funds status. Telephone and online support available.

South London Refugee Association

Advice service for people at risk of, or experiencing, destitution or homelessness.

Contact them if you are an asylum seeker, someone who has irregular immigration status or a new refugee and you are struggling. Or if you are concerned about someone in this situation contact them for advice.

They also offer hardship support, social activities includings English language classes, weekly women's group, counselling, and youth club.

Waterloo Community Counselling

Low-cost counselling for anyone with a London postcode. Multi-Ethnic Counselling Service for refugees and asylum-seekers. You can self-refer or an agency can refer you via the website, or via Lambeth Talking Therapies.

Down to Earth is a service from Quaker Social Action. They can help you plan an affordable and meaningful funeral, if you are on a low income. You must contact them before the funeral has taken place.

Lambeth Cruse Bereavement

Free support, advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies. Calls returned within 48 hours.
