We have just launched our new community garden at St. Luke's Hub in Kennington.
We received funding from the Big Lottery that paid for our friends at Father Nature to come and build the new space. We had a community planting event on May 11th to get things started and we planted apple tree, a fig tree, blackberries, strawberries, herbs, tomatoes, radishes and beans. We also planted wildflowers from Grow Wild. We will be posting photos to show our progress. Our neighbours at Lambeth GP Food Co-op will be helping us to get things started with a weekly gardening group meeting on Thursdays 2-4pm. All are welcome, no experience necessary.
